The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) supports and promotes professional development for teachers of mathematics. Its portal, http://www.ncetm.org.uk/ helps teachers to share ideas for effective teaching. The NCETM is helping the "Bowland community of teachers" to share ideas and approaches for using the Bowland materials. It enables teachers to add comments, provide feedback, and exchange views and ideas about the individual Case Studies and about the Professional Development modules.
